Connecticut has no course that dismisses a ticket or takes points off. The DMV's Operator Retraining Program is required only when the DMV sends a letter after repeat moving violations (two for drivers 24 or younger, three for drivers 25 or older), a work zone speed over 75 mph, or racing. Drivers 60 and older who finish a DMV approved accident prevention course of at least four hours get an insurance premium discount of at least 5% for at least 24 months.
