Before you pay for a course

1. Check that a course helps this ticket. Only an Eligible or a Points off answer leads to a course. Insurance only, Not eligible and Speak to a lawyer answers show no provider. Check a ticket first.
2. Check that your court or state accepts the course. Confirmed on the state list means we found the course on the state's own list. Limited approval means the list names it with a limit, such as one county. The provider's claim means no state source we read confirms it, so ask the court on your citation before you pay.
3. Check the deadline. The course has to be finished by the date your court, clerk or DMV sets. Arizona, for one, wants the class finished at least 7 days before the court date.
4. Check the full cost. The price here is the provider's own figure for the course. Court and state fees come on top and show on each state page. Idaho's rule notes that a tuition fee may not include the certificate.
5. Check who runs the course. Several courses check out at another school. Each provider panel below names the school where the records say so.

How this list is built

A provider appears for a state when its record lists a course there, with the approval words from the state's list or from the provider. Providers appear in the order of their names. Price, approval and any commission never change that order, and no provider here carries a rating.
