Our own reading

We found no statute or state page that sets up a course program here. The answer below is our reading of what is published, so the court on your citation has the last word.

We found no New Mexico statute or state rule that dismisses a ticket or removes points when you finish a course. New Mexico points expire on their own 12 months after the month of the violation. State licensed driving safety schools run courses of at least 6 hours, and the state requires one to reinstate a license suspended for points. A municipal or magistrate court may still order or allow a course in your case, so check your citation.
