Iowa traffic school rules
Iowa has no course program for tickets. There is nothing for a course to dismiss and no points for it to take off.
Rules checked
Iowa has no traffic school or course that dismisses a ticket or reduces its effect. Ordinary tickets such as speeding carry no points; Iowa counts them instead. Points apply only to serious offenses such as OWI or driving while barred, for the habitual offender bar. The Iowa DOT places some drivers in a driver improvement program instead of a suspension, for example after three countable moving violations in 12 months, followed by one year of probation. Finishing it does not remove any violation from your record.
