Oregon traffic school rules
Oregon has no course program for tickets. There is nothing for a course to dismiss and no points for it to take off, though some local courts run their own programs.
Rules checked
Oregon has no statewide traffic school that dismisses a ticket or takes an offense off your record. A few circuit courts run their own programs: Coos and Curry counties dismiss a single qualifying moving violation after an online course, while Josephine County offers no traffic school. Check the court named on your citation. Oregon also has no point system; DMV counts convictions and preventable crashes instead. Insurers must offer a premium reduction to qualifying drivers 55 and over who finish an approved accident prevention course.
