Pennsylvania has no course you can choose to take to dismiss a ticket or remove its points. PennDOT's Driver Improvement School is open only to drivers it orders to attend after reaching 6 points or after a conviction for 31 mph or more over the limit. Drivers 55 and older who finish a PennDOT approved Basic Mature Driver Improvement Course are entitled to at least a 5% insurance discount, kept by taking the refresher every three years.
