Mississippi traffic school rules
In Mississippi a traffic safety violator course leads the court to dismiss the case. It applies once every 3 years.
Rules checked
Mississippi law lets an adult with a valid Mississippi license or permit and no traffic conviction in the past 3 years ask the court for a traffic safety violator course of at least 4 hours. You still pay the fine, costs and a $10 fee, and once you finish the course the court dismisses the case, so the violation stays off your public driving record. Ask by the appearance date on the ticket. Commercial license holders cannot use it in any vehicle. Each court approves its own course list, so check with the court on your ticket.
